On Thursday 26th May Lord Sheikh hosted the launch of his Book ‘An Indian in the House’ at the Indian High Commission’s Nehru Centre in London. Lord Sheikh’s book relates to the lives and times of the four trailblazers who first brought India to the British Parliament. Lord Sheikh additionally launched his book in the House of Lords which was attended by a number of Parliamentarians, and was very well received. 

The Honourable Lord Desai was invited to speak at the launch which was a privilege to all in attendance.

The evening raised £4,420 for St. Christopher’s Hospice who offer world class palliative and end of life care to everyone who needs it.
