Lord Sheikh:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will consider developing a single fund to counter all forms of extremism.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord West of Spithead): The Government are determined to tackle extremism wherever it arises and has a wide range of policies to do this. We are not persuaded that it would be effective to seek to deal with extremism of different origins through a single fund.
